Our startup is developing modern methods to support the positioning of forearm injuries and production of personalized 3D braces to speed up patient recovery. Our project is at the initial prototype stage and we are in the process of preparing an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to start testing our product in clinical trials.

We are students of, among others, medical faculty at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Silesian Medical University in Zabrze, coming from different regions of Poland, who are fascinated with innovations in medical technologies. We use, like many other teams, various development programs for startups, which are available in Poland (as a Mediprintic startup we took part in Rzeszów Startup Accelerator and at this point we undergo incubation in Starting Platforms in Eastern Business Accelerator in Puławy).

At the same time, we have high hopes for the development of our technological company in cooperation with Zabrze, whether in the form of participation in the Zabrze startup community as a part of the Startup City Zabrze program, or through cooperation with institutions and organizations dealing with topics in the field of medicine, located in Zabrze.

The Zabrze medical related ecosystem plus the potential of the GZM Metropolis, as well as the focus of the Silesian Voivodeship on the development of medical technologies, make Zabrze a center for the development of medicine and related areas like the Silicon Valley in the USA. Therefore, the initiative of the President of Zabrze, aimed at coordinating activities in the field of creating modern companies based on technologies in medicine, health care and related areas, is assessed as necessary and appropriate.
